What do you want to upgrade to and how long is it gonna be until you upgrade?

the gpu first, and not soon, i'm planning on future upgradability tho, so both have 10 years of warranty, and both were 80+ Gold certified.

Both are coming at the same price so i thought the NZXT is the better choice ( also as i am using an nzxt case )

Okay then gor for the 750W.

You could go even lower and take a good 600W. With that you can still power any Zen 8c/16t CPU with a 2080ti (or any other card with similar power draw).

With 750W you even have the option of going for RTX3080 or similar later.

I don't agree fully with this. For RTX3080 the 750W is definitely better suited. the 650 might also run it but in some edge cases you might trip the over current protection of the PSU.

Also there is not much difference between the RM and the RMx series. RM is already very high quality.

stock 3900XT and 3080 uses around 500w. overcloked around 550-600w, depednign on the cpu oc. but since OP has 3600, if he overclocks the cpu and gpu he uses around 500w+-50w so he will be fine with 650w unit.

I use a RMx 650W with a 3700X and an OCed 3080. Never had any overcurrent issues or unwanted shutdowns. The RMx is quite a bit better than the RM and is rated for quieter and cooler operation. OP should be fine with a 650W unit, but i'd recommend at least a 750W unit too to be safe. The only reason i use a 650W unit myself is because i wanted to try it out before upgrading. And as you can see i didn't have to.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Only at 1080p you'll see a difference between the 3600 and the best gaming cpus out there. Anything like 1440p and higher is fine and not bottlenecking.
