They are both the same price and the 6570 supposidly has better performance so which one is best to buy?

Is the r7 240 only pricey because of the bitcoin hype or is there something I'm not seeing here?

Don't do it please. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131559

also no, no one in their right mind would buy r7 240 or 6570 for mining, or period.

Please don't assume, I have a 660ti. This is simply a build for my sister, I want something with a little bit of umph. So what's the best bang for buck without going into the mid range graphics cards.

R7 250x/HD7770 is the lowest you should go. Or just get A10 7850K APU.

I'm pretty sure intel integrated graphics outperform r7 240 and 6570, or come close.

There's no way a integrated gpu can ever beat a dedicated, maybe the really low end ones. Besides, I bought the Intel Pentium Processor G3220 which has basic intel hd graphics. I don't like amd CPUs, almost every intel cpu outperforms them.

I would save up for this:

http://www.amazon.com/MSI-R7-260-1GD5-OC/dp/B00I5HIVTM/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1394564845&sr=1-1&keywords=r7+260

many times more performance.

Otherwise, get the R7 250, at least its a modern card.

So wrong on that one... x4 750K-760k costs much less than i3 and performs the same, also FM2+ boards are cheaper and more feature rich.

You bought a Pentium that is your problem.  You should have bought a low end AMD chip and a better GPU. Also you ARE wrong when you are saying that AMD A10-7850K is slower than a Pentium.

Lol, was that supposed to be a joke? You're comparing a $185 cpu to a $65 cpu. No shit the cpu that costs 3 times more would win. Intel has better cpu performance for your money that is what I'm saying.

He should have used the money for the pentium along with the money for the GPU to buy an A10 -7850k, and got a better motherboard and better graphics

I don't need the best performance money can buy. A pentium would suffice a 12 year old girl. Even If I did do what you are saying, it would still be more expensive than the setup I've chosen.

He is not saying the best performance money can buy. He means performance per dollar. Also What do you mean that a Pentium will suffice a 12 year old girl? Also an Athlon with a motherboard would be better value compared to a Pentium.

If you read in the beginning I wrote this PC build is for my little sister. I just trust intel much more in the long run, they have great performance and stay cool. I already decided on my graphics card.

After rebate it's cheaper than all the other options while still being able to play games on medium settings. I'm gonna give my sister my 1680x1050 monitor and replace it with the 1080p asus I ordered. This will take a edge of the 6670 and games will still look great on the 1680x1050 monitor.

We weren't trying to make things difficult my friend, just telling you what would have made sense for the money.
