NZXT H440 Modding

So I'm thinking about building a second system which colour theme should be black and yellow. I'm very interested in the NZXT H440 red and black edition but my question is can I remove the red coloured plastic to paint it yellow without damaging the case?

Second System specs:

CPU:              i7 4770k

CPU cooler:   Corsair H100i + 2x Corsair 120mm SP Fans, 1x Corsair 140mm AF Fan (paint to yellow)

Mobo:             MSI MPOWER MAX AC Z87

GPU:              MSI 780 Lightning

RAM:              16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical 1600mhz CL8

PSU:               850 Watt Corsair RM Series Modular 80+ Gold

I would think that would be more damaging than just taping black parts to avoid spraying on them.

I know but I would like to keep the mesh black.. I think yellow plastic and yellow mesh would look weired.

Well you probably can take mesh out, since its metal on plastic it should be possible to take out.

The Mesh to the H440 is held by screws, you can remove the mesh very easily and put them back on.

Im doing a build for my daughter right now, and I got her the H440, all the black on the outside is being plasti dipped with fierce pink. I honestly really like the case alot and wish they made a huge version of the case so i could get one too :D

War,

Every single plastic piece on the H440 is held in with screws, so you can remove it and paint it to whatever color you want.

as ericlee said, just plastidip it. If it goes wrong just peel it off and start again, but tape it up instead of removing the parts, it'll save you a metric butt-ton of time whilst still doing the job, if not as completely as taking the entire thing apart.
