Socket 478 in 2020

I've got a Dell Dimension 2400 with a Pentium 4 clocked at 2.8 GHz.

Running Puppy Linux and attempting to launch application sees spikes to 100% and frequent freezes.

Any use for this system?

I can only think of e waste.

I don't even think it'll cut for a retro gaming computer.

It won't take Prescott CPUs and supports 2GB RAM...if you're not replacing most of the internals (and at that point, why bother), then I can only think of a few uses for it...and honestly you might as well use a Raspberry Pi and get more use out of it at that point.

A specific use case could be as an older gaming rig if it still has a floppy connector for example...use it to run old DOS games...modern computers (and Windows 10 for that matter) don't even contain the BIOS code for a 5.25" floppy drive any more.
