Amazon Price on Corsair PSU

I just bought a upgraded PSU from Best Buy.

I noticed while comparison shopping Newegg was the same price as Best Buy, but Amazon was $100 more.  They appear to be the same supply and doesn't seem to be a 3rd party seller.

Also amazon is bad for pc parts and they also charge more like because sometimes other companies dont have them in stock

this is bad/false info... Amazon is just a store front for others to sell through, including PC Manufactures. They pay amazon for shelf space to sell there items. Why would PC component Manufactures want to rip off people and get a bad name?? Look at MSI right now caught scalping there own 3080 cards on Ebay. Amazon does not set prices on anything, its all on the seller. The only prices they set are for the stuff sold as Amazon Basics.

Ok, I had a bad experience. The 2080 super for $699.99 was OOS at best buy and amazon was charging $869.99

There are third-party sellers on Amazon besides Amazon.com that uses Amazon as their store front to sell online. Never had an issue with PC parts from Amazon.com and would buy again, but I would avoid third party sellers as dealing with returns gets messy.

Welcome to economics with supply and demand. As supply decreases, prices increases and vice versa. Every company is going to try to get your dollar over the other company and also Amazon's prices change constantly...  i.e. the price for a RTX 3080 could be $799.99 one minute and then five minutes later jump to $949.99 the next. My father has also seen this when purchasing merchandise other than computer products.
