I don’t own a tough-book, But maybe if you try looking through Intel’s Integrated graphics drivers for your generation of CPU (As I can see no gpu), and try there.

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/80939/Graphics

(I think you are on a pentium but look online or in your computer to see)

Also go into the actual driver settings In control panel and there is an update drivers button

I have looked everywhere for a driver and still cant find one, if you happen to own a driver for a CF29  Toughbook, please let me know.

Toughbook drivers are hard to find, and the CF29 is an antique.  Only WindowsXP and 2k drivers available from them.

Yeah I saw, they look good for what they are, but sadly time hasn’t been kind to those tough books. Even if they will never break, they probably won’t ever be updated.

If not another silly idea, but if you kept the box (or someone else did) usually the box/ motherboard will have a cd full of useful drivers for the machine? Might be worth giving it a look to see if any disks were made with it and if anyone has them?

It’s a real shame, but hopefully someone will help find them for you.

Im running windows 7 professional on it, maybe that's the reason it isn't working for me.

Windows XP,

Pentium M LV718, no gpu

OP litterally just said Win7 Pro, of which requires a GPU. We need to know the chipset if it's onboard.

@made zos ion can you find the PCI device ID of the graphics adapter in Device Manager?

Maybe, I saw it had potential but I didn’t know you had upgraded.

That could be the reason. Also are you still running WIN7 32 bit?

On an unrelated note, have you upgraded the RAM? Or did you buy the maxed out 1.5GB RAM model? as that must tank on windows 7

We need to know the exact chipset then. Again, that means we need to check the PCI device ID of the graphics.

After doing some digging, the CF-29 probably has an Intel 855GM chipset.

Intel does not support or provide drivers for it anymore. You'll have to find your own from alternative sources.
