Is there a way for me to know ahead of buying which SSD I would get in my laptop, I bought An asus TUF laptop in augost and I get an Intel 665p and my friend bought one in late september and got crucial P1 (both 512 gig)? 

And the SSD wasnt listed on any website or Asus website, they just say NVMe

Yeah I know that they are similar in prefornece and I'm complaning on the SSDs they are shipping in the laptop, Im asking if there is a way to know. And if they use multiple surces then tell me which SSDs I could get (It wont really effect my buying purchse but it would be nice to know)

You won't know it unless you open it.

You really cannot complain as they just say they'll give you a nvme ssd.

Maybe because of stocks issue they went for a different brand.
