Fully custom server

Hello everyone

I am building a fully custom server from the ground up with it being fully water cooled and over the top they system is going to be running my full home with.

2 Epyc 7702

4 Nvidia Founders 3090

16 kingston 128gb 2666 mhz

a OSS add on card 

and ever 1 petabyte of storage

 

My I also add i am using OpenVM for the VM along with am building a total of two of these systems.

How are you going t send data to the clients? Are you going to use something like vmware horizon to manage the sessions

 

WHy dual socket, for games, and workstation user, id go with. single higher clocked cpu here.

Id probably use something like kvm as the host os

 

Id really suggest just have desktops for every user, its much easier to setup, cheaper, less setup issues.
