Gamepad recommendations please

Any reocmmendations for gamepads?

I'm rarely going to use it so I'm looking into the cheap *ss price tier.

edit: I'm using this for racing, so I think accuracy is more important than precision. I might give it a shot for piloting airplanes and maybe helis as its easier to aim than with full keyboard.

Get a brand name one. Most of the off brand ones are really shit quality.

Though, I'd personally get a used XBox controller off Kijiji or spend the extra $50 to get proper Xbox one.

I've been trying to buy used controlers for years and nobody's selling

Then I'd pony up for a new one.

There's one on Kijiji as well, new in box. Maybe he'd take $60.

Think I'll go the cheap route lol. The one I posted is from logitech. so that counts as a brand the way you meant it right?

Eh, you could but it's not going to last you long. My roommate had one and it died within 6 months. You're better off spending twice that and getting something that will last years.

When it comes to things that cheap, it's generally not worth getting from eBay.

As cheap as my 25-30$ price range or the 60$ one or both?

I've gone through 4 Logitech F310s and for me personally it's the best budget controller feelwise. The triggers and sticks are tight and the buttons are decent. After a year or so of hard use the tolerances become sorta shitty and it starts annoying me so I replace it but IMO it's either the F310 or you need to move up a tier to Xbox 360 controller / Xbox One controller / Dualshock. Of course if you need vibration then that's where the F310 falls short but on the flipside it's lighter because it doesn't have vibration motors.

Do you use it on a daily basis? How many hours of use would that be until you replace it?

I'd say a solid 2 hours a day for a year + . It's not that it breaks after a year the triggers just become mushy and the sticks are not as stiff. For the money I'd say that's worth it considering I ruin an Xbox 360 controller in the same amount of time and it costs double.
