do you guys think this is a good idea? what could gor wrong and could i fix anything that does?

Hmm What could go wrong...

VRM PWR issues, VRM overheating, GPU Coretemps now not being managed properly by the design.. inc CPU if its sharing heatpipes.
Any heat based problem or throttling..
Laptops usually already run at the ragged edge of power..
If you want better performance, lower settings or resolution.
 

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Didn't WANT to burst your bubble, but better not risk your hardware so you can Actually use it.
