Can the 3060 ti handle 1440p 144hz gaming or am I better off with a 3070?

I can guarantee that a 3060Ti can handle 1440p at 144Hz at is actually directed towards 4K I believe. Earlier cards like the 2080 can do most games 1440p 144Hz easily as well. So, if you were to purchase one, think about the games you will be playing in the future and how long you intend to use it.

Im impressed that you are aware if the marketing decisions of a product that hasnt been announched yet. And before the existanse of the 3060. Which we dont really have any solid info in at all.

 

So no clue how you made a performance estimate..,......

Any video card can handle any resolution.  You will just get less and less framerates as the card struggles to keep up.

The card isn't out yet so we can't say anything without benchmarks.

The 2060 would struggle with 1440p @144hz for most AAA titles.

 

It's entirely possible that it can but we don't know anything yet.

We do know that the 3070 should fit that bill being advertised as being "equal or better" than the 2080TI

Yes I was a bit sudden with my typing, I feel I should have stated I don't know completely about such things and that it's more of a estimate, but judging from previous cards, I don't think they would go backwards in strength
