Holaaaaa mighty Linus-techers-hang-abouts and other people.

I build my first rig in March 2020 and I actually didn't fuck it totally up ( not like the Verge build ).

be quiet Pure Base 500

AMD Ryzen 3 3700X Stock cooler ( I like the RGB of the AMD Wraith )

MSI Arsenal 450 MAX Mobo.

32 gb G.Skill 3200 Trident Zero.

MSI RTX 2070 8 GB

2 Be quiet 140 fans on front ( Pull in-flow )

1 Be quiet 140 fan in back ( Pull out-flow )

1 Be quiet 140 fan on top ( can go both but currently disabled as no need )

Anyways here is the big question:

My MSI GPU is set in the top slot of the mobo ( as it should be ) I've been thinking of buying on of these nifty PCI-E cards that hold 4 m.2 but I am afraid it might stiffle the airflow to the GPU as the other PCI-E slot is very close to the top one?

Any thoughts on this?

I may update the case itself if anyone has a good idea for something that would be better ( silence is a MUST as I have it on my table and not the floor ) - I have no mechanical drives either just for the reason.

I will bring a picture of my rig once I get the new sleeved cables so I feel like I can share it :-)

It makes some difference. Up to you what kind of performance you want to prioritize whether it be better gpu boosting, lower noise, or faster drives / more expansion.

theres no much you can do other then a different mb with bigger slot spacing or use a pcie exstention and move one of them els ware. its ideal to have an inch of clearance for the gpu fan to breath at full power but some times that cant happen. if your not overclocking it probably wont notice it.

I have dyslexia plz be kind to me. dont like my post dont read it or respond thx

also i edit post alot because you no why...
