is it possible or has anybody tried, to install windows ona 512gb micro SD?

As posted above there is a thread for that, but I don't see why you wouldn't be able to since you could install it on a USB flash drive. Also what would you do to make that video interesting?

But to your question, yes you can, but no you shouldn't. SD cards are rather slow with read/write speeds. I have ResqueCD on one and it loads really slowly. So you don't really benefit from using SD Card.

 

And if this is preface for using Windows on mobile device or something else which would boot from SD Card, things are not that simple. Just drivers alone are big issue.

I meant more of what would you suggest the video be about? Going through the windows installation process and then booting to Windows doesn't sound like the most interesting video, or a very long one. I guess they can run some games and benchmarks, but everyone already knows what the result would be: very slow, not a good idea.
