Boot problems

Hello
I just built a new pc, it’s my first time but when I tried to install Windows it keeps giving me the message<<Reboot and select proper boot device>> all the parts are new the USB is normal. I’ve tried changing the priority order in the bios
Need help don’t know what to do.

Do you have a “proper boot device”?  The general method is to have a “proper boot device” in the form of a USB key with windows on it that will install windows on another drive.  The boot order shouldn’t matter.  If it finds a device isn’t bootable it will just go to the next device.  It seems to think there are no devices at all that are bootable

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
