How to set up a ssd in my pc as a media center

title says it all i have two ssds 1 is 1tb and another one is 2tb how can i set up my 1tb as a media server

i got a fairly decent pc 32gb ram ddr4 ryzen 2600 and a gtx 980

do you mean nas or plex? also there are a ton of way to do so

i just want to do it for my mom because she only has 250gbs of storage in her laptop and it wont open the laptop so i tought i want to do a server

so i just want for it to be like maybe a program where she can store files and get them back

ok but that is only for specific files is there something so that it is like a second harddrive on the laptop
