hey so I went in game, opened my afterburner

and it was doing alright. after a while I closed the game and noticed the noise is not going down

checking it there is 0 noise difference between 0 speed and 100% speed gpu fan on afterburner.

when i shutdown the computer it stops or goes quite low, but when I open after burner it goes to max 100% again and no matter if I go manual or change the curves it wont stop going 100%.

my graphics card is a 980Ti Msi

I did it didn't work, do i have to do something specific to 'clean' reinstall it?

I noticed one of my fans didnt even turn (had this problem when afterburner wasnt working when I bought the card 6-7 years ago), when I lightly touched it with something, it started moving but at a very very slow pace.

the other one is going 100% no matter what

Did you try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers with DDU?

And is Afterburner up to date?

afterburner is upto date,

I notice its the control of the speed that is weird

so if I put afterburner on 0 automatic it stops turning, but if i set it to 1%, it goes immediately to 100%

i didnt try reinstalling drivers, whats DDU? I'll try that next.
