Trouble Having 2 SSD's using Windows 10

Hello all,

 

So time ago I decided to replace the 1TB HDD from my laptop to a 250GB M.2 and a 1TB SSD, with the goal of having my OS (Windows 10) on the M.2 and my games and work files on the SSD.

After I did so, I had to format my pc because I was having problems with Nvidia Experience and Nvidia Drivers installation, due to mixed files locations. I did format the laptop and took further precautions on how to handle file locations, and everything was working until yesterday when I tried to update Windows.

It started by not letting open Windows Update, so I went online and tried to run Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth command and it failed. I then went and tried to make a recovery of Windows using the Windows 10 ISO file, but that also failed.

 

I really don´t know if I am doing anything wrong, if it is a dual storage problem or if I'm just being dumb. I really appreciate all the help I can get!

When you put both in did you format both before?

Yes, I did format both drives so that thet can allocated windows files

Never had problems like that, even with 5 drives. I always disconnect all drives except the C when I install Win10 and never assign letter A or B.
