7940X Overclock - Help restore custom OC

Hi,

I recently did a clean install of Windows and thought I would take the opportunity to update my BIOS. I'm running an Asus X299-E Gaming and I have an Intel 7940X which has a Corsair AIO.

This machine was built for me and had a pretty stable 4.2GHz OC.

Obviously I have now lost this OC since the BIOS update and to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what I'm doing in there (yes, I am kicking myself for not taking note of the configuration prior to update).

Can anyone help me get this back to where it was? (I have no idea where to start). All I have done so far is enable XMP, the rest is a little over my head.

I know the Turbo for this CPU is supposed to be around 4.3Ghz but since returning to stock I havent seen HWMonitor report higher than 4Ghz.
I do a lot of all core CPU rendering and this now appears to max out at around 3.6GHz under all core load.

Thanks in advance!

For my rig, I personally set any of the turbo features involving CPU clocks and turbo boost to be set to 'Enabled' instead of 'Auto' with XMP enabled.
