which mb for zen 3 (B550,X570).

I want to make shure i have a mb that supports zen 3 now and not next year (b450,X470), i just don't know what mb to get, a god B550 mb cost as much as a X570 mb

So fare i have narrowed it down to a MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk, i want to stay under 200 euros or 180 £

Location exactly ? and what are you powering?

as for zen 3 support, AMD has apparently released an agesa code update that added support for zen 3 before it was released but if the board happened to ship the old bios, if the board has a bios flashback button you can update the bios without having a cpu installed.

again though, location and what are you powering?

Or the b550 tomahawk, all of these boards (including the tomahawk) are good. all of these should be around 140-200ish euros.

that for the same money i can get a X570 mb

Which board exactly? because i can't seem to find anything on the denmark pcpp that's decent and around 200 euros, if you want.

the x570 tuf plus and the tomahawk are pretty good x570 boards if you can find them for around 200 euros, and the x570 aorus elite is also decent if you can't find either the tomahawk or the tuf.

im not going crazy, im not gonna use anything faster than a 6 core 5600x or if theres a good deal i might use a 3700x, like when people just have to sell there gpu to get a 30.. there might be people that just have to sell there 8 core ryzen  and might sell it for a good deal under the price of a 5600x (it's after all the same price for a new 3700x as a new 5600x so a 3700x has to be alot cheaper)

MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS,MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI,ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus if i where to get a M-Atx mb (B550) i would have more mb's to choose from.

The gaming plus and the gaming edge and horrendous, the x570 tuf plus is pretty good.

if you can go matx, the b550m mortar or the b550m tuf plus are good.

The boards i listed above (the b550 a pro, aorus pro, tomahawk, strix f) are good as well.

I prefer not to since i have the space for a atx mb

Then as i said, the b550 tomahawk is good if you can go for it, the x570 gaming edge wifi and the gaming plus are crap so don't consider those, the x570 tuf plus is good if you want to go for it.

Yeah it is solid for the price. It will handle a 3950X so no issue with whatever cpu you choose.

I don't know, the cheap msi X570 mb's are having a hard time handling an oc'ed 3900x (not that im gonna buy one)

The MSI X570 boards are well documented to be bad. Apart from the X570 Tomahawk, Unify, Ace, Creator and Godlike they should be avoided. They fixed the VRM issues with the B550 boards though.
