Which 450w gigabyte PSU?

No, b450 usually is not out of the box ready with zen 2 CPUs. You probably will have to send the CPU to and so that can send you a 3000g to Barrow so update the bios.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Bios database

My beautiful, but not that powerful, main PC:

prior build:

If everything is good, then I would ask if you are sure that the motherboard supports the CPU out of the box? You might need to BIOS flash to the latest to support the 3300x.

and that is by using an older CPU
the problem being its not an upgrade, its a first time build

Boxes can say a lot of things... ;)

If you're positive that everything is at the correct version. Then can I ask if you used stand offs for the motherboard when installing to your case? Or did you screw directly into the case?

Also, it might be referring to this:

I know the 3300x came out a little later than those listed CPUs. So it still might be BIOS related. Does MSI have a FlashBack option like some boards do? Where you can flash the BIOS without a CPU installed?

That's good then. Wanted to rule out a short in the board due to mounting.

Take a look at my previous post with the screen shot from MSI's page. Might still need a BIOS update.

EDIT: NVM, you noticed the post. Good luck, hopefully that's all she is. :)
