Frame drops

Hi guys I have been experiencing terrible FPS Drops recently. I have just built my PC and the specs are:

 

CPU: Intel i5 8400

GPU: RTX 2060 

Ram: oloy 2x8gb 3000

PSU: Corsair 650 watt

HARD DRIVE: Seagate barracuda 

CPU COOLER: cooler master hyper 12 RGB

 

I Play a lots of modern warfare Warzone, And this is where I am experiencing the most issues.

Have you run some benchmarks to see if performance there is what's expected? Any issues in other games?

 

What FPS does the game run at? What does it drop to? What resolution are you running at?

 

What are the CPU and GPU clocks and temps?

 

Games up to date? Drivers up to date? Have you tried reinstalling GPU drivers?

My cpu temp is super high now it’s at 99 could that be the issue

If it's thermal throttling, heck yes.

Absolutely. Also, make sure to quote people you're replying to so they know you responded.

 

Start with re-mounting the CPU cooler. Make sure to apply new thermal paste during the process.
