Games crashing

I'm making this thread for my friend, his specs are
I5 2500k Stock clock
8GB G.skill Sniper
Gigabyte z-68a-d3h-b3
Gigabyte 7770
CoolerMaster 700w ExtremePower Plus

 

 

Crashing Games
Diablo III, Starcaft 2 matchmaking (Not the aracde which is funny), TES Oblivion, Saints Row III,  Magikca, SWTOR, GuildWars 2, Torchlight 2

Game that don't crash

Dota 2, LoL, Starcraft Arcade
 

The crashes usually only occur after a few hours of gameplay and then they persist every few minutes making the games unplayable.

The crashes usually require a reboot of the pc, some times the driver stops responding and recovers.
The temps are all within reasonable values, drivers an directX are up to date

The gpu has been RMA'd, PSU has been swapped out ram was swapped and booted with only 1 stick
Memtest and MSI Kombustr were ran and nothing crashed.

I don't know what else to try other than swap out the motherboard and CPU which isn't really an option.

Doesn't sound like a cpu problem.  To me I would be inclined to say ram or maybe even hd.  Maybe some sort of read/write problem.  How much free space do you have with the HD that runs your OS?  I have seen some messed up performance issues due to full Hd's. Do you get a bsod?

Yes 64GB SSD is nearly full, but some of the games are on my HDD
