Super Flower Leadex Platinum SE 1000W 80+ Platinum vs. Super Flower Leadex III 850W 80+ Gold?

ArtOfDivine

I want to future proof my system. Wonder how they both compared and if they are in the same series.

The Leadex III is the better one, just make sure it's the 2020 model, since the one's made before 2020, is similar to the Leadex Platinum.

The PSU tier lists has both of these power supplies there. You should check it out next time you want to make a comparison of PSU's.

• Super Flower | Leadex Gold / Platinum / Titanium / III (pre/post 2020 y.) / III (Pro) ARGB - Platinum King - Golden Silent

So I currently see this. Are they both in the A tier? I did look at it but I was a bit confused since I did not see the Platinum SE

I bought this one. Is this one 2020 like you said? I was thinking about replacing this one to the link below.

This is the 1000 W Platinum SE. Is this one the outdated model?

It's not worth replacing regardless if it is or it's not the 2020 model, there's no point replacing with a PSU that may be marginally better or worse. Unless you're running a multi gpu setup it doesn't make sense getting the 1000W one.

Okay, I will probably keep it since you made a good point. Is this one 2020?

Do you need 1000W ? If not, then you don't need to replace this PSU.

I can't check, they aren't 2 distinct power supplies. You should check the manufacturing date on the unit to make sure. If it isn't listed, it might be part of the serial number.
