RTX 3080 Performance problems!

Help please! I recently got a 3080, replacing my 1070 however in games im getting much worse performance than I was on my 1070! COD warzone is now sub 80fps (before over 100) and World of Warcraft is now just above 100 (was 160)

 

Specs are;

ASUS Strix B550

AMD 3700x

16GB Corsair 3200mhz

ASUS TUF 3080

1000w superflower power supply, two separate PCIE 8pins to the card from the PSU

1440p monitor over display port.

 

nothing in the system has changed other than the GPU and ive tried all sorts! Help appreciated!

download shaow of the tomb raider and run the benchmark on the highest preset and post the screenshot here. then people can help better, it's more useful than just a bunch of fps numbers

Try reinstalling the drivers with DDU. Also try posting temps, clock speeds, and gpu utilization using afterburner or hwinfo.

Sure, nvidia did make a few at least.

 

Seen a few people on here that managed to grab one, personally I managed to get both a 3080 and 3090.

 

Unfortunately mine needed to be shipped overseas to me, I have tracking so I know they are coming, but it takes a couple of weeks.
