Best way to back up unRAID to unRAID?

I want to put together a new unRAID server, then my current unRAID server would become more of a 'back-up' server.  A couple of the things I'm trying to figure out are how to get the back-up server to turn on for a set amount of time per day/week to allow the sync to occur.  And what is the best method/software to use for an unRAID to unRAID back-up?

 

I have heard of Syncthing but have never worked with it and wanted to perhaps hear from those who have?

What do you mean by backup 'unraid' ? are you talking about backing up the USB/SDCard? or backing up unraid shares/vm's/dockers/etc...?

Haven't used it for this but duplicati may work for this its an app in unraid I use it to back up my flash drive but would think you could backup the entire array with it

Good point thank you!  I'm talking about backing up the array that's storing my data/document files ... to another unRAID machine.
