Need help on making my wacom tablet work...

I was about to use my wacom tablet which is a CTL-471

but the tablet won't work. i tried the usual

changing usb ports, changing the cable. Nothing works

i opened the tablet removing 4 screws revealing the flat board..

Smelled it for any burnt components Nothing smelled normal.

What could be the issue? not even windows giving the plugged in usb sound.

Does not appear on device manager...

Checked the micro usb port on the board, I saw that the side pins (which are 4)

when i checked one of them where loose (not doing contact on the board)

but i doubt that's issue because it's not data a connection it just there to hold the micro usb port on the board.

Just happened now...

@MoonzyIt was working perfectly fine a few days ago..

Well then that's a shame if it doesn't work. :(

did you move it or drop it?

afaik, LED should light up as long as it's receiving power

@Moonzy Don't remember. But these kind of devices should not break for no reason?

Well, how i really don't leave it in one place maybe that's the reason but still not sure :(

i tested my CTL-490

the LED blinks when receiving power from my battery bank, solid white when connected to my PC but no driver running

the CTL-470 might be different though

After a struggle getting a picture, here it is:

that's... fine if it's not making connection

it's just anchor point for the port

but if that's torn up, is the connection on the back of the port still working?

What do you mean by that?

the data lines on the back of the micro usb port

seem fine.
