$1k USD PC planning

 

Budget (including currency): $1000 USD

Preferably with RTX, light editing on Resolve, but it'll mostly be used for gaming on a 120/144hz display.

I'm helping my friend pick out parts for a new pc and this is what he has so far:

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

I would say you should wait at least a month for new hardware to be announced. Might drive prices down.

 

But if you were to get that right now I would at least switch to a 3600 instead of a 2600. Pretty good increase there.
