Even during good time. I don't think I can spend €1500 on a gaming monitor and then another €1500 for a graphics card. I broke my gaming monitor two weeks ago. Today order an AOC CU34G2X. Hope there is no dead pixel.

So I need a monitor that costs no more than £550 and it needs to include...

  • 1440p or higher display
  • 144Hz Refresh Rate
  • Good variety of colours
  • At least one HDMI 2.0 port
  • 4 millisecond response time or better
  • HDR

If you can, please include a link, thanks!

I suggested Samsung Odyssy G7 - you will actually get a real HDR with that and it should fit your budget.

It got HDR600 certification which mean it does at least have a local dimming feature, which is a lot better than LG 27GL850 that only do HDR400

Nit brightness isn't that importnat when it comes to HDR. It's actually those local dimming zone that will give you the contrast necessary to give you clarity in bright and dark area that people associated with HDR. A higher end HDR monitor will simply have more of those local dimming zones.
