Hello I'm relatively new to Pc hardware and what not so be gentle lol.

 

I recently bought a gaming rig from staples its the Acer's predator Orion 3000 

specs

 

CPU - intel's i5-9400F @2.9 max turbo @4.1

GPU - Nividia Geforce 1660ti gb

RAM 16 GB

 

Mother board - P03-600 DCH

 

Monitor Samsung 4k UHD *** sorry no model # atm***

 

My question is what would be the first goto upgrade for my rig was thinking i7-9700K or i9-9900k but then what cooling and PSU would I need this is where my PC IQ lacks atm. any help would be greatly appreciated

for more fps at 4k, i'd start with a gpu upgrade

I cannot find specs on the power supply, you want to upgrade that as well. At 4k you want a better graphics card but I would wait for the release of the RTX 3070. The RTX 3080 will need a cpu upgrade as well, at which point you kind of building a new pc.

ya id rather not spend $1200 CAD on the new 3080 lol.. my PC doesnt suck just wanna be able to run upcoming games at or above 60fps doesnt even need to be 4k, 1080P is fine as well

lol, 1200 cad? isnt it like 1000 cad for a TUF/FE?

did a rough search on amazon.ca and the first one i seen was $1,157 or something expensive all i know lol

ya i did a second glance and saw that,, I can only imagine what the 3080 looks like $1500 - 2000 or more
