Post code Error after booting into windows.

I have been fighting this issue the past few months. When I boot my PC, everything is fine usually, but sometimes, I’d say 15-20% of the time, my PC will freeze and then spit out a VGA post error a minute or two after it’s in windows. It just randomly started. I did preform a GPU upgrade between when it started and now and that did not fix it. When it happens, it’s always when Steam is updating or Corsair iCue is syncing and stuff that auto runs is going, never after. I don’t know what to do.

Specs:

Ryzen 7 3700x

EVGA 2070 Super (Originally a Zotac 2060)

MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi Mobo

32gb of Corsair RAM at 3200mhz

850w 80+ Gold Corsair PSU

Temps are not the issue, I am using a Corsair 360mm AIO, and my GPU has 3 fans blowing straight into it giving it air.

Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried updating your BIOS?

As above, update BIOS. Then clear CMOS to reset BIOS. Start with all default with XMP off. MSI defaults to CSM-UEFI Boot. 

 

All of this considering the built has been mechanically checked. Check for loose power cable to PSU, PCI-E and ATX.
