Best Monitor below 500 euros?

So I am going to buy a new monitor with a budget of 500 euros. I have a rx 5700xt and ryzen 5 3600. I would like a monitor with 1440p and 144hz+. HDR could be nice but is not a must, so is a USB hub. I already picked 2 monitors but idk if they are good? Gigabyte G34WQC and Samsung LC27HG70QQUXEN.

I really like RTINGS' monitor reviews. They have a couple best picks that I trust (though not very complete).

The only downside to their website is you need to pay a premium subscription to see price in their own website (otherwise you have to click through to Amazon, which probably generates them a small amount of revenue)

Samsung CHG70

ASUS TUF VG27AQ
 

Which one would you choose?

 

Edit: Price is basically the same (except for 32 inch model for Samsung)

If you care about HDR, I'd go for the CHG70. Otherwise the IPS Panel on the ASUS is better overall.

i think the blind recomendation is LG 27GL850-B
I also don't have it, but i ve never realy heard anyone haveing strong arguments against the dislpay, just some about the form factor (plastci and things)

I haven't heard of significant differences between freesync implementations.

 

Do keep in mind the review quotes the Samsung as having bad response time at 60Hz (but good at 144)

ye but I'm going to play at 144hz so does it really matter? Viewing angles also don't really matter to me.

Would be a nice extra but not really necessary because little games support it. I do play Battlefield V, that  game supports it right? Then it  would be nice.

There is no "best" monitors objectively. Both are comparably good, and it's about which one suits your particular needs. That's why I asked the questions I did

Hardware Unboxed says the lg is best except if you want the special features and better colours that the ASUS has. The response time is way better tho on the lg. I will not use my monitor for watchinig a lot of netflix and yt so I think I am going with the LG?

yes, and they do so so many tests to so many monitors, and that on is a champion on almost every category
