air bubbles go up, don't let air bubbles reach a part of the radiator/tank that makes moving water harder to do.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Each end of the radiator has a little reservoir. From what I gathered, ideally you always want one part of that above the height of the pump. With that being said, it's also preferable to have the tubes at the bottom of the radiator, so the non-tube end/reservoir is at the bottom of the radiator. This means that bubbles get trapped in the top of the radiator and won't travel through the tubes to the pump, because bubbles go up and can't get to the tubes, since they're at the bottom.

That's what I took away from it anyway.

Stop and think a second, something is more than nothing.

No.

Why is this so hard?!

  • Air must never go into the pump.
  • Air goes up.

So  tubes down  = Air stays trapped at the top of the rad and the pump always gets water and no air bubbles.
