At what point do you start to see severe quality degradation at various resolutions? I'm interest to see what other people here think.

At 1440p I can usually go down to 85% rendering scale with some sharpening before I notice, 1152p before it's completely obvious.

With 4k, I can't tell the difference between sharpened 1800p regular 2160p unless I really search for it, but it gets obvious around 1600. After running some tests today, 1800p is my go-to when I can't quite run a game at native 4k.

With 1080p I can notice a significant difference even at 90% scale, so I turn down anything possible before resolution scaling to maintain framerates.

What's the lowest you can go on 1440p and 4k with and without sharpening without it detracting from your experience?

On 4K lower than 100% I notice it. Especially in games that have a lot more going on and more detail in general. Then I also play online shooters at 1080p with 0.75 scale.
