I have a gigabyte h270m d3h and I want to install to a NVMe m.2 drive. My main question is whether I should get a Kingston A2000 500Gb or a WD SN550. Is having a non DRAM nvme ssd disadvantageous?

Dramless nvme drives normally havea. much smaller hit to performnace.

 

Id get what is cheaper, you probably won't notice the differnce between them, and both preform fine.

Won't the dram less nvme consume more RAM?

not really. Some use hmb, but thats like 32mb at most. NOt really a issue.
