im building a new , mini itx pc with x99 from aliexpress, and i already have ddr4 memories on my main rig, the plan is to remove both sticks from my main pc and insert them on the x99, but they are hyperx-2x8gb 2400mhz, the new model, does anybody know if it is compatible?

ps.(motherboard hasnt arrived yet,)

that ram should work, but it probably stay away form those cheap boards if possible. Also if you already have a system on ddr4, it is likely already newer and faster, and id just upgrade that system if you need more performance.

Normally, I'd disagree on that, but looking at that link, and the images contained therein, holy cow is that a sketchy looking board!

Yeah, i know, but im building a mini-itx pc and this is the only option i have, here in brazil there is almost none itx options,

i agree, but im building a mini itx pc , and my mainboard is b360 pro 4 asrock full atx, and this type of board is my only choice, as am4 mini itx mobos are going for as high as 2000 reais, 377 dolars, wich is unthinkable to pay.......

what cpu would you get for this board?

 

 

Id really suggest staying with atx, or getting itx or another newer platform, this seems like a downgrade, and a pretty bad board at it. Those cheap boards just seem to have issues, and aren't built well.
