MacOS safari website running continuously

Thanks for the suggestion but I've got it working now. ✌️

I bought a Mac a few days ago; so I was looking around for apps to tweak the software to my liking, and I downloaded fanny (a cpu temperature/fan speed monitoring widget). I ended up deleting the app but now the website (/process) seems to be running the entire time safari is.

I've spotlight searched to check for any residual files and deleted them, but with no change. Any advice is appreciated 😁 (screenshot for reference)

 

EDIT: Fixed by going to Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data... , deleting all data relating to that site and then rebooting.

Yes, I checked it was removed when I first noticed the issue.
