Is the Razer Mamba just a wireless Razer Deathadder?

(besides the fact that mamba is laser vs the deathadder being optical and the fact that the mamba has 2 extra macro buttons)

No it has more functions like the 16Million color LED, it can run in wireless and wired mode. However, I can't stress this enough, the chance of you getting a bad Mamba 2013 is 1:2. Most of them have problems when connecting from wired to wireless mode on the fly. I had one I got so frustrated with it that I returned it in less than a week.

Yeah Razer Mamba is just a wireless Deathadder but if I were you, i'd rather stick with the Deathadder unless you want to use the mouse in wireless mode all the time. I own a Mamba for 2 years now and I seem to have some problems when I switch to wireless mode, sometimes the DPI changes when I didn't even change the DPI.

Its not even remotely a wireless deathadder unfortunately. The sensor is dramatically different in the mamba and its dramatically heavier. Overall the mamba is a terrible mouse, the wifi will keep dropping out, the DPI is just random and the sensor has so many problems. The deathadder 2013 on the other hand is very good.

I dont know, I think I have the mamba 2012, and I have had a very good experience with it. The mouse I had before was maybe a death adder from 2009. Also, I think there are two sensors in the mamba: both a wireless and optical. I am not sure how they work concurrently, but I will say that I have never had tracking problems with this mouse. About 1 year in the wireless base died, and I bought a used one off ebay for 5 dollars and it works fine, so there is that. That being said I think I would try steelseries offering If I were buy a new mouse now.

I have a 2019 macbook pro with 64gb of ram and my gaming pc has been in the closet since 2018
