What is the best way to color correct an Acer H236HL? 

i5-4670k, Asus VI Hero, Corsair Vengeance Pro Series Red 8GB (2x4GB) @1866 MHZ, EVGA GEFORCE 780 FTW w/ACX Cooler, Fractal Define R4 Windowed (Black-Pearl), Samsung Evo 250GB, WD 1tb Blue, EVGA SuperNOVA NEX 650, Acer H236HL 23" x2, Corsair H100i, 2x Noctua NF-S12A, 2x Noctua NF-A14, Steelseries Apex, Logitech G602

What is the best way to color correct an Acer H236HL? 

The best way is to buy a hardware calibrator like a Datacolor Spyder4Pro or Spyder4Elite or an X-Rite i1Display Pro. However, if you're wanting a software solution you could either use Windows' own inbuilt color calibrator or use something better like QuickGamma, located here > (http://quickgamma.de/indexen.html). I use the latter because I can't quite afford a hardware calibrator at the moment, however, when I can, I plan on buying a Datacolor Spyder4Elite.

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

i haven't been able to use it yet. My case comes in tomorrow but I have plugged in my laptop via hdmi to make sure there wasn't anything wrong with the display
