Budget (including currency): ~ 500 USD

Country: Switzerland

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: MS Office, Browsing, Electrical CAD, Light Programs

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Hyx2tp

Hi, I'm planning to make a small build I would use only for light workload since I already have a gaming laptop.
Attached is the part list, I would buy used CPU and MOBO, therefore the price would go down to about 518 USD.

Add a 140mm noctua fan on the case as intake since the case comes without any fans (it's about 33 USD)

I'm planning to run Linux on the machine because i want to get used to it for gaming in the future (not on this machine).
What do you think about the build? Any advice where I could do something better?

Thanks!

Seems fine but don't spend your money on the noctua FAN [not cpu cooler]

ATX PSU in SG13 is hard and even harder with non modular

thanks, so I would go with a Pure Wings 2 from BeQuiet for 14$
Abot the PSU, I don't think I can go modular or  SFX without dropping to 300W, would 300W be enough?

noctua redix or silet wings 3 are good fans.

it will be harder than in normal mid tower cases but still highly possible.

300w would be enough but for future upgrades you want 450w-550w psu. well 300w psu would be enough, but depends on the exact model

Thank you a lot!
I changed the fan with a used Silent Wings 3 for 17$

For the PSU i was considering the ST30SF 300W 80Plus Bronze at 60$
