Budget (including currency): My budget is 550$ CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: competitive games and streaming

Other details: I have bought my GPU which is a 1660ti, Upgrading from an ancient pc, going to buy in October or November because of sales, I got a 144hz monitor from my friend so that would be very nice if I could handle that refresh rate.
I am trying to get the PC ASAP without using much money so I am sticking with an SSD for a few months then when I have the money I will get an HDD. Just came on here to ask if this PC would be really good and if there could be any fixes to lower the price somehow.

Crucial P1 and P2 are very good cheap options. While not the best performers, they are still great.

I'm sorry I dont know much about this but what's the diff between the WD and the P2 and also just to make sure can I boot this without having an HDD?

The WD drive uses a SATA lane, while the P2 uses PCIe lanes. This means that the performance of the WD drive is capped at 600MB/s, while the P2 can reach much faster speeds  (I believe around 1000MB/s)

these have slower read writes, ~2000mbs

sx8200 pro(at 500gb) goes 3000+mbs which nax out pcie limit

since I'm slightly over budget I could get this when the price goes down but if it doesn't should I just go with the P2 250gb or the 256gb sx8200 pro

the issue with 256gb range is that write speed is around 1200 and 512gb ~ 2300mb and 1tb~ 3000

and one game + windows fills most space...
