new laptop low fps

Hi so i just got a new laptop the Predator PH315-52

my specs are the following

motherboard i5-9300h

ram is 4gb

gpu is rtx 2060

 

can anyone help me on why my new laptop has a small fps considering my cs-go only goes for about 60-80 FPS

That's most likely your issue, most modern games require at least 8gb of ram, and it could explain why CS:GO doesn't go higher than that.

That is weirdest config that I have ever seen. The 4gb ram is holding it back btw.

Generally the i5 sku is paired with a lower end GPU such as a 1660 or 1660ti and CSGO will be heavily CPU bottlenecked.

yup definitely a weird config my laptop is the Acer  Predator helios 300 PH315-52-54KC
