Hey I just recently got an AT2020 USB+ from Audio-technica.

My problem with the mic is that the sound is...a bit off. I have heard samples online which sound amazing. When I plug in my headphones to the microphone it sounds good(through the feedback) but when I try to record something it is a bit off (the sound is not uniform - it sounds like it goes back and forth between the left and right speaker).

Any ideas? I have attached the sample file I recorded with my guitar. This gets worse when I sing + play guitar at the same time. I have also noticed that the louder I play the worse this becomes.

EDIT : Fixed it...sorry guys
