It may be some virus. Or just chrome. Even if you uninstalled chrome, it still can keep settings. You should delete all chrome related folders after uninstall. If this is problem with other browsers too, it may be a virus resident in registry.

it was a virus a deleted it from malwarebytes thx anyways

What was the name of the malware?

My Laptop: A MacBook Air 

My Desktop: Don’t have one 

My Phone: An Honor 8s (although I don’t recommend it)

My Favourite OS: Linux

My Console: A Regular PS4

My Tablet: A Huawei Mediapad m5
