storage questions

My game consoles have very little storage is it possible to connect a PC directly / wireless and configure the drives to be used, or do I need to get an external / internal for the consoles?

Do you need the PC to still be functional? This is also a good option if you happen to have a spare hard drive lying around and don't want to pay the full price for a pre-made external drive.

 

I doubt there's actually a way to use the PC's hard drive while it's actually in the PC.

i would have to assume that console using PC drives thru wireless or wired is not a thing for two reasons

1) niche needs

2) the access latency is absolutely horrible, let alone bandwidth

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately
