you might find deals on used from people upgrading, though it's minority of the people

as for new, maybe they'll go on sale on year's end

either way the price isnt going up anyways, so might as well wait if you can

though stocks might run out hmm

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

idk bout your country, but my country normally gets sales during december

and even then, not much sale going on for CPUs, so i would just wait for 4000 to release, see if prices drop in few days, and probably grab it

but some countries have black friday, and other stuffs, so idk

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

then i would at least wait to see what 4000 series have to offer before locking onto 3600

but if you're keen on the 3600, you can grab it now

though prices may drop a few if AMD decides to launch their 4000 series at the same MSRP

Well I don’t know if I need more than the 3600 but I will wait and see (will my X570 board handle 4000 series)

support wise, x570 will support it

VRM wise, depends, probably yea, since you're only looking at R5 tier of CPU

The 3600 isn't an expensive high end CPU. Even if the price drops when 4000 series launches. By how much? €20-30? And OP has to wait a few more months just to save €20-30. Doesn't seem worth it.

buy now

or wait, to see performance of 4000 series, or save a couple bucks

we listed benefit of waiting and not waiting, worth it or not is up to OP

i doubt OP doesn't have a computer to use now anyways

No offense but it kind of isn't, it uses an ISL69138 and 6 SIC634's doubled with ISL6617's, not a bad board and will handle a 16 core easily, just not a high end one, but yea unless zen 3 is super power hungry to overwhelm the vrm on this board (which i doubt) it'll be fine.

Okay may have mistook high end meaning, but if there is a better cpu at the same price range as the 3600 I will go for that

well with am4 at least right now, a 3600 is the best thing that you can get for around 200ish bucks, wait for zen 3 and check what it has to offer..
