I've used my Logitech M525 for a long time, I even bought a second one when the first one died.

Used it daily, more than 10h a day avg, only had to swap AA batteries 3-4 times in the 8 years I've used it. (probably because it takes 2xAA to run it, but it still runs with a single cell)

Sadly it's not in production anymore (should've grabbed like 10, darn it). The middle button is worn out by my constant new tabbing.

Looking for a mouse that's like that, long battery life, and if possible, rechargeable. (like a battery swap/charge every 1 year maybe)

Here's a photo of the mouse to get a general idea of the shape I'm looking for.

I'm not sure if the Logitech M545 is just as legendary as this, don't think it's rechargeable too. Plus it only takes 1 cell, so the battery life shouldn't be too much.

The only rechargeable mouse is the MX master series, cost way too much. So I'm wondering if there are any other options besides the M545.

edit: I feel comfortable using the Razer Deathadder, so if there're wireless mouse like those, I'll consider it

the M585/590 and M330/M331 may be alternatives, logitech rates them with a 24 month battery life. personally own a m330, and the battery last for months.

there is the M720 but its rather pricey, or you could try and find deals on the mx anywhere 2s (its rather small though) which is most of the time cheaper than the mx masters
