Morning From the Central US.

A streamer I follow is looking for a pc. I get the impression from him he wants to go the prebuilt route for warranty reasons and his own piece of mind. Building his own is not his cup of tea.  I'd offer to build and ship it to him but he doesn't know me that well and I don't want to give him that anxiety.  I'm not a prebuilt guy so I'm have a hard time recommending any specific prebuilt for him.

Any recommendations on prebuilt gaming pc's? He streams Marbles on Stream and Fall Guys for the most part.

Thank you in advance.

Like we saw in many videos from LTT and GamersNexus, there is no real peace-of-mind with buying a prebuilt. Even the "better" ones like NZXT BLD still make the most basic mistakes. Be it to not initialize drives or not enabling BIOS.

Basically it's their only job to deliver a completely functional system without any tinkering neccesary afterwards. And they still manage to fail. Sometimes even their customer support when a issue arises is useless.

For these reasons i can't recommend any system integrator.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

You want to buy a streamer a $1000 PC?

1000$ is plenty for a streaming PC. You can easily fit a r5 3600 + 5700XT in this budget when building yourself.

Preaching to the choir here. Like I said he seems adamant about a pre built. So I'm trying to help find one that is atleast halfway decent.

It's always a great experience when you turn your PC on after building it yourself. He should just try it.

If he really is adamant about a prebuilt, the only one that comes to mind who does a good job is OriginPC. But they're terrible value and he won't get much of a PC for 1000$ there.

This is my current front runner for what he is looking for.

https://www.newegg.com/asus-ga15dh-bs562/p/N82E16883221608

Reputable brand - check
Price - Check

I'd have him order an extra stick of ram

and he could upgrade his graphics card later. The 1660 should run marbles and fall guys without issue.

The cooling and the marketing on that newegg site instantly gives me a headache, but the parts are not that bad if he's adding another 8GB RAM.
