Can't remove CPU connector from motherboard

MajorFoley

So Im trying to take out mb from case but I can't seem to get the CPU connector out and I'm worried I'll break it. Doesn't help that's in a tight spot. These pins normally come with clips to remove right? The PSU is a Corsair rm550x

Have you tried pressing on the clip at the top of the 8pin?

I think it's a 2x4 the part at the front or back?

Have to squeeze the top of the clip and it will come right out.

OR..

You can do I the easy way and unplug it from the PSU end and remove the MB pulling the cable through then taking it off when you can reach it better.
