Floatplane for gym?

Interesting idea but I'm not sure if it would make sense for the gyms. It would require gym members to sign up to Floatplane and subscribe to the gym through Floatplane.

The gyms might be better off using something like Zoom and making the video call password protected, and giving the password to those who have a membership at the gym. That way they don't need to charge any additional subscription fee to their existing members.

 

But, I could see potential for a fitness channel on Floatplane.

What kind of services?

Floatplane is about people being able to subscribe to their favorite content creators and have the majority of the money go to the creator and not the platform. In return, the creators publish videos early or post exclusive content. I dont see how that model would adapt to gyms.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

It is a possibility, those business's would just have setup accounts.

Floatplane is designed to be a pay for early access system. I suppose it could work for what you are asking for.
