Server Upgrade ???

I wan´t to upgrade my DELL POWER EDGE R410 witch new cpu´s and RAM and Nvidia Quadro P400 for aceleration.

 

My question is i have a  2 x E5630 @ 2.53GHz and i have a rev.2 of motherboard.

 

What is best CPU to upgrade for ????

Just to expand on mayhar's answer, the R410 doesn't support 5600 series 130W CPU's...so the highest you can go is the X5670 / X5675 which are the highest 95W CPU's

Ok, thank's for responding Jarsky for letting me no that's i can put in max x5675 cpu's, and mahyar for that useful website.

 

I chose the cpu's i go for x5675.

 

And i have anothet question is necessary to buy a matching pair of the cpu's or can't be buy separatly from the same seller ????

they have to be a matching pair, in that they have to be the same model CPU. 

You can buy 1 now, and buy another later. If you're only running 1 CPU then it must be in the CPU0 socket, and memory must be in the DIMM slots for that socket. When you add a 2nd X5675 later, then you can move half the memory to the other bank. Both banks must have equal memory DIMMS & Capacity.
